About OwnMailServer
We think businesses that send a lot of email should have their own server and reputation, not rent a slice of someone else's.
OwnMailServer is a small, hands-on team in the Pacific Northwest, USA. We run dedicated email servers and IPs for businesses sending 250,000 to 1,000,000 emails a month, set up and manage mail servers on clients' own VPSs, and fix email deliverability on any provider.
Why we do this
We moved our own production domains off Mailgun and Resend onto our own Postfix server and found it worked well: flat costs, our own IPs and full visibility. It also showed us how many small details have to be right, from DKIM records to reverse DNS to warm-up. Most businesses don't have time to learn all of that, so we do it for them. How we work
- Honest advice. If a $20 plan is the better choice for you, we'll say so.
- Your reputation is yours. A dedicated IP per customer, or a server in your own name.
- No spam. We vet every business and don't accept cold bulk email or bought lists.
