High-volume email sending on your own IP
For businesses sending 250,000 to 1,000,000 emails a month that are tired of per-email pricing and shared-IP surprises.
What you get
- Your own server and dedicated IP (two on Scale 1M), with reverse DNS, TLS and per-domain DKIM keys.
- A familiar API:
POST /emailsin the same shape as Resend's, plus SMTP on port 587. - Message history: every email's status and events (queued, sent, delivered, bounced) for lookups and support.
- Managed warm-up: a schedule built from your volume and engagement, with traffic moved over gradually.
- Guardrails: suppression lists, bounce and complaint thresholds, and automatic pauses before a problem damages your reputation.
- Monitoring: blocklists, DNS drift, certificate expiry and mail queue, checked every day.
- Claude connector: ask questions, build reports and dashboards from your own sending data.
Why this volume
Below a few hundred thousand emails a month, a dedicated IP doesn't get enough steady traffic to hold a strong reputation, and hosted APIs are cheap. Above it, the economics flip: per-email pricing grows with you while a dedicated server's cost doesn't, and a reputation you don't share becomes worth having. Read shared vs dedicated IPs for the details.
Moving without risk
- Keep your current provider running.
- Add our DKIM key and SPF entry next to your existing ones.
- Send a small, growing share of traffic through us over 4–6 weeks.
- Cancel the old plan when we've reached full volume with good placement.
Provider-specific steps: migrating from Resend and migrating from SendGrid.

Frequently asked questions
How many emails a month justify a dedicated IP?
Generally a few hundred thousand, sent steadily. Mailbox providers judge an IP by its recent history, so a dedicated IP needs enough regular volume to keep a reputation. That's why our Scale plans start at 250,000 emails a month.
How fast can a new IP reach a million emails a month?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks. Daily volume starts low and roughly doubles as Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo accept it, sending to your most engaged recipients first. Your current provider carries the rest until the new IP is ready. See the warm-up guide.
Can I send marketing email as well as transactional?
Yes, to people who opted in, with one-click unsubscribe as Gmail and Yahoo require. We usually separate transactional and marketing traffic so a newsletter can't slow down password resets.
What do you need to verify my business?
Your website, the domain you'll send from, your current provider and volume, and where your list comes from. We check the domain's DNS, history and blocklist status before setup.
What stops another customer from hurting my delivery?
Your IP is yours alone, so other customers' sending doesn't affect its reputation. We also vet every customer and pause any account whose bounces or complaints spike.
