Your email deliverability, inside Claude
Ask Claude why emails bounced, how Gmail is treating you this week or which domain needs fixing, and get answers from your own sending data.
Questions you can ask
- "Why did our bounce rate jump yesterday?"
- "Is Outlook delivering our mail more slowly than Gmail this week?"
- "Did the password reset to jane@example.com arrive? What happened to it?"
- "Which campaign caused the spam complaints on Tuesday?"
- "Are SPF, DKIM and DMARC still correct on all our domains?"
- "Build me a weekly deliverability report, with a chart by provider."
Claude chains the tools together: it might pull stats by provider, notice Microsoft deferrals, look up sample messages and read the receiving server's reply before explaining what's going on and what to do.
What Claude can see
| Tool | What it returns |
|---|---|
| Account overview | Sending totals for the last 24 hours and 7 days, each domain's DNS status, webhook health, and any automatic pauses or warnings from the last week. |
| Email statistics | Delivery, bounces, complaints and deferrals over any period, by day, by mailbox provider (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo…) or by sending domain. |
| Search and look up emails | Find messages by recipient, subject, status or date, and see every event for one email: queued, sent, delivered, bounced. |
| Bounces and complaints | Recent hard and soft bounces with the receiving server's reason, and spam complaints from feedback loops. |
| Suppression list | Who you no longer send to and why: hard bounce, complaint, unsubscribe or manual. |
| Domain health | A live check of a sending domain's SPF, DKIM, DMARC and return-path records, with the exact value to publish for anything missing. |
Safe by design
- Read-only. No tool sends email, edits DNS, removes suppressions or changes settings.
- Your account only. The connector URL is tied to one account and can't see anyone else's data.
- Revocable. We can revoke a connector URL at any time and issue a new one.
How to connect it
- We give you a private connector URL for your account.
- In Claude, add it as a custom connector (or in Claude Code, add it as an HTTP MCP server).
- Ask a question. Claude calls the tools it needs and shows you which ones.
Try it on demo data
Our demo account, "Trailhead Bookings", has 30 days of realistic sending with a few problems planted for Claude to find: a mailbox provider throttling delivery, an old list with too many bounces, a domain missing its DMARC record and a failing webhook. Email us for a demo connector URL.
The connector comes with every Scale plan, along with your own server and dedicated IP, managed IP warm-up and daily monitoring.
Scale plans are in early access: join the list and we'll contact you to check fit and plan your warm-up. No payment until your server is live.
Frequently asked questions
What is the OwnMailServer Claude connector?
A connector (an MCP server) that lets Claude read your own email sending data: delivery and bounce rates, complaints, individual messages, the suppression list and live DNS health for your domains. You add it to Claude once, then ask questions in plain English, and Claude answers from your real numbers.
Can Claude send email or change my settings through it?
No. Every tool in the connector is read-only. Claude can look up messages, statistics, bounces, complaints, suppressions and domain health, but it can't send email, change DNS, edit suppressions or touch your account settings.
Which Claude apps does it work with?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP: Claude on the web and desktop through custom connectors, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible tools. You paste the connector URL we give you, and it appears as a set of tools Claude can call.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. We run a demo account, "Trailhead Bookings", with 30 days of realistic sending data and a few planted problems, like a throttling provider and a list with too many bounces. Email us and we'll send you a demo connector URL.
Is the connector included in the price?
Yes. It's part of every Scale plan, which are in early access. There's no per-question fee from us; your use of Claude itself is covered by your own Claude plan.
Want to see it with your own numbers?
Join early access and we'll connect Claude to your sending from day one.
